2021 Heavy-Duty Aluminum RIB-type Workboat
Featuring a robust 10 mm keel section and starting with 6 mm hull plating, this vessel is equipped with a towing post and motor guard, making it an ideal in-harbour tow and support vessel. The twin-engine design ensures optimal maneuvering and safety. With very low running hours, the vessel is in near-new condition.
Main Features and Capabilities:
Designed and constructed by TP Marine with Patrol and Search and Rescue (SAR) operations in mind, this vessel excels in both inshore and coastal waters. The result is a highly functional, robust, and agile boat, expertly maneuvering in the demanding environments typical of operational areas. Its alloy hull is exceptionally strong, built to withstand the rigorous demands of workboat life.
The hull’s topsides are protected by a commercial-grade, heavy-duty foam-filled fender system, topped with a durable Polyurea abrasive coating. The choice of a D-collar shape maximizes working deck space while providing unparalleled reserve buoyancy, essential for handling standing waves. In case of water onboard, the vessel quickly sheds it through large-capacity scuppers located at the stern, in line with commercial regulations. This 7.6m D-RIB not only meets but exceeds relevant ISO Stability and Buoyancy standards, featuring a self-draining deck design.
The vessel’s forward section is designed as a functional working deck, incorporating a bow step with handrailing for secure standing. The helm console, equipped with a T-top, is centrally located, providing seating for two. The aft section houses a spacious engine bay with a bulwark-level cover, surrounded by robust railings for crew safety. Mounted on the integrated engine bracket are two Suzuki outboard engines, featuring extended shafts for dry operation and a commercial-grade hydraulic steering system with electric power-assisted steering to facilitate effortless maneuvering. The vessel boasts a top speed of around 40 knots.
In summary, this vessel is a paradigm of capability, durability, and construction excellence, poised to perform its duties effectively for years. Its features include:
• An overall length of approximately 7.6 meters, making it tailorable.
• Shallow draft with beaching ability.
• An open working deck for 3 crew members, including space for a basket litter/stretcher.
• A helm console with T-top protection and an integrated windscreen.
• A foam hard D-fender, exemplifying the RIB configuration.
• Planing boat performance with a range of several hundred kilometers.
