The Mars has a rich history and is a seaworthy sailing ship.
Built in 1924, this coastal ship from Groningen has sailed extensively along the Hanseatic route to the Baltic Sea and the English coast.
In 1996, the Mars was given a new life as a sailing charter ship.
On deck, the Mars offers plenty of seating; the high, enclosed bulwarks and high boom make sailing on the Mars ideal for family trips with children.
From the atmospheric salon with its cherrywood interior and nautical copper elements, you have a direct view outside, so you won’t miss any of the sailing or the beautiful nature.
The Mars has a valid CvO (Certificate of Inspection) for the next five years for 51 day guests and 32 overnight guests, which also includes certification of the rigging.
