| The ship-store consists of an old and a new section. The old section length: 17.45 m - width: 11.25 m is an original catamaran which dates from 1937. The new section 13 x 15 m. is a pontoon which was added to the catamaran in 1992. The deck of the old catamaran section is fitted out with a steel construction of 2,5 meter high which accommodates a kitchen and a 25.000 Kcal central heating installation built by Rapido. The roof is insulated. The old section is transformed to a store. Deck level of the new section with a workshop which is a steel construction built with vertical and horizontal H-shaped profiles. The roof and walls are constructed with 7 centimeter thick (about) insulated sheet piling profiles. The height of the construction measures 5 meter in the centre and 4,5 meter at the sides. The centre of the roof, across the total length of the construction, is fitted out with a double layered lighting globe. Furthermore the construction is fitted out with 2 vertical rolling doors manufactured by Crawford (width: 4 meter) and 3 regular entrance doors. The workshop has a overhead travelling crane manufactured by Demag with a capacity of 1000 kg. The floor of the workshop has a built-in open tank which can be used to test outboard engines. The so called gas chamber is a galvanized iron framing with a deck of walk-on grating and a container. It is mounted at the front on starboard side (quay-side). The container is finished with fire-proof layer material and a roof of transparent corrugated synthetic plates. The interior of the workshop and the shop are illuminated by fluorescent lamps, the exterior is illuminated by plenty of search lights. Delivery time to be discussed. More info on request. |
